The Nerdy Foodie Christmas Gift Guide!

So, here’s the deal, folks. I know you might not know me well enough yet to see this for yourself, but let me be the first to tell you.

I’m. A . Nerd.

That’s right! A bona fide anime-cosplaying, Star Wars-loving, Disney-adoring, MMO-gaming, Marvel fangirling, Tardis-daydreaming, Harry-Potter-premiere-costume-wearing, forever X-Files-loving NERD. And I’ve embraced that. I’ve never been shy of the things that I love, and that love has only increased as I’ve gotten older and decided that I truly don’t care what anyone thinks of me.

I know I’m not the only one out there like me. Most of my friends are just as nerdy as me, and I doubt that the entire group of nerds are all somehow shoveled in to this tiny corner of the world.

I also happen to spend a lot of my time in the kitchen. Yep, I’m a foodie. Aside from cooking and baking, I also love to eat out at different restaurants, checking out their newest and best dishes. All that combined with my job.

Conclusion: my life pretty much revolves around food.

So. Who better to put together a nerd’s kitchen wish list than a nerd who spends a vast amount of time in the kitchen?! The list I’ve compiled contains things on my actual Christmas list (hint hint), or are things I already have in my kitchen. FOR THE DOCTOR WHO NERD

A Tardis Refrigerator! Your argument is invalid. It’s actually just a kit that you adhere to your existing fridge, but holy cow, how cool! They even sell a sound box that will emit Tardis noises when you open the door. Definite want!

 If a large-sized Tardis fridge is a no-go, how about a desktop mini fridge? Perfect to hold your snacks and drinks while at work, or as you wile away the hours on the internet.

How about a Tardis Cookie Jar? Do you sense a trend?

 

Every kitchen table needs a Police Box and Dalek salt & pepper shaker set, with a matching creamer & sugar bowl!

FOR THE STAR WARS NERD

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this R2D2 Measuring Set – I think I might find it under the tree this year! Hints have been dropped!

FOR THE STAR TREK NERD

I’ve always been more of a Star  Wars fan, but the movie reboots have made me fangirl over Spock more than once. It would be easy to rock this Vulcan Peace Oven Mitt in my kitchen.

Everyone needs a superhero (spatula) in their kitchen! I just happened to choose Iron Man because he’s my fave. I have a thing for Tony Stark. Don’t judge.
