Recipes, Travel, and Millennial Lifestyle
My Nana Irene, born in 1915, was a first-generation immigrant from Poland to the United States. She not only raised her own two children, but also my mother and then myself. While we all turned out to be very different people, we were all brought up eating the same delicious old-world Polish recipes. This category is a collection of recipes taken directly from her old yellowed cookbook - which is full of handwritten and typed recipes passed down from her friends and family. Some of the recipes are adapted - meaning ingredients may be substituted or included for a unique twist.
