Can we just talk about milkshakes for a second?
And how, every time I go to Red Robin, I just have to have a salted caramel one? Even though I know how terrible they are in calories? And how my borderline-lactose intolerant self will despise me for drinking allllll of it myself later?
Well, whatever. I love shakes, and my inaugural one here on the blog is indeed one worth loving! If you love chocolate, caramel, and peanut butter cups, that is. (Plus, booze, if you’re so inclined.)
And if you don’t, well…I’m not sure why you’re even on this blog, to be quite honest. Who are you!?!
I’m totally one of those people who will understand THAT you don’t love something I love, but won’t understand WHY. You know what I mean? Like, OK, you don’t appreciate the luscious, extraneous caramel sauce dripping down the sides of this milkshake glass. It’s messy and sticky, I get it. But…why don’t you see it like I do: as an opportunity to lick that goodness right off the glass?
Yeah, you’re a grownup, but…you’re drinking a Boozy Caramel Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake, dude. Lighten up and get some wet wipes.
This milkshake is a lifesaver on a hot day, folks, and good grief if every day ain’t a hot day down here in the land of sunshine.
I know I’ve beefed about our weather before, but it’s honestly more ridiculous than usual this month. I’ve never been so glad to be on a staycation, so I can at least decide whether I want to go outside and face certain, humid near-suffocation, or stay inside, where the cold artificial air keeps pumping, and there’s no threat to my milkshake’s lifespan.
Except that it’s inevitably going to disappear out of that glass.
Care to join me? Stop by My Cooking Spot today, where I’m sharing this blissful Boozy Caramel Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake recipe with the world!
Like it so much you wanna spread the love? Share it however you want but consider this: have you heard about Yummly?
You might have seen some of my recipes show up on some of the other big-name food sharing websites around the internet, and that’s all well and good (and appreciated!), but Yummly is a different animal altogether.
Think of it as a Pinterest for food.
Yeah, that’s right. I saw you click the picture.
(It’s OK – I only pin for food, too!)
Unlike the other sharing sites, Yummly is great because you can categorize all your favorite recipes into individual “boxes” – it’s like an internet cookbook, basically, which is wonderfully convenient. Not to mention, you can quickly flip through the recipes on basically ANY blog and find what you’re looking for visually, and it will take you to the right place on the blog. It also provides you with base nutrition facts, recipe recommendations, and a nifty printable shopping list, if you’re so inclined.
I love the Yummly toolbar, personally – I can YUM any recipe I find on the net in the blink of an eye, even if the blog doesn’t have a YUM button.
Now that you’re educated, go! Be dazzled by Yummly! And if you want to YUM my recipes, I’ll love you forever. (Even though I already do!)
Check back here Wednesday for EVEN MORE frosty treat goodness!

Yeaaaaaaaaah. Now that I can have booze every once in a while again, I’m all about this. And I think I need one, like, now. It’s possible for you to mail one to me, hmm?
