3cupscherry tomatoescut in half
1/4cupfresh minced basilplus more for serving
1 1/2cupsbalsamic vinaigretteplus more for serving

Cracked black pepperif desired
Boil the rotini as instructed on the package, then drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
Place the rinsed pasta in a large serving bowl with the remaining ingredients.
Pour the balsamic vinaigrette on the salad and mix well.
