Happy early St. Patrick’s Day!
Yes, I’m well aware that this smoothie has absolutely nothing to do with anything green, Irish, or Bailey’s, but I feel like this would be a good start to your day tomorrow! You know, since you’ll be eating all those starchy potatoes and drinking all that carb-packed Guinness tomorrow night. Or afternoon, if you’re so inclined.
It’s a healthy, smoothie version of one of my favorite cocktails, and it’s guaranteed to bring about daydreams of cruise ships, Calypso music, and sunshine on your shoulders, even without the rum!
Which, I have to say, wouldn’t be a terrible way to celebrate good ol’ St. Patty, kicking back in a lounge chair, dozing off and getting a tan…
Wishful thinking. Just be safe folks, and drop by My Cooking Spot and pick up my Strawberry Pina Colada Smoothie recipe.
If you really want to get in the spirit, you could always dye it green!
Don’t forget to enter our My Cooking Spot Target giveaway!! You still have plenty of time (until 3/22) to get your entries in for a chance to win $130 bucks! Don’t miss out!

It’s healthy and healthy is almost like being green…..because you eat a lot of green things so I say this will go well with St. Patty’s day lol. I will be checking this out because I love to try out new smoothies

I’m a smoothie lover and I’m kinda glad it’s not green. If I see another unnaturally green food item . . . 🙂 I love the colors and I’m going to take you up on the offer of daydreaming about lying on the beach soaking up some rays.
Erica says
I totally hear you, Alli! Glad the green dye will be packed up for another year, lol.
